Gillian Powers, M.Ac., L.Ac., earned her Master of Acupuncture degree from the TAI Sophia Institute in Laurel, Maryland in 2004 (now called Maryland University of Integrative Health). Through her own struggles with infertility, she began to specialize in women’s health, male and female fertility, and maternity care. Gillian creates a treatment program specific to each individual – whether they are just beginning to think of starting a family, or are presently undergoing an IVF cycle. She has seen again and again how acupuncture is an effective, drug-free therapy that dramatically improves fertility outcomes.
